Melt the butter in a large skillet over high heat.  Whisk in the brown sugar.  Add the bananas and sauté for 2 minutes.  Sprinkle the cinnamon over the bananas.  Pour the banana liqueur and rum over the bananas and ignite with a match.  Baste the bananas with the flaming liquid.  When the flame dies, serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.

Our comments:  Nothing fires up a party like big fire in the kitchen after a good meal!  In fact, the right fireworks can make them forgive and forget a bad meal.  Both flavor and visual impact are reliable with this recipe.  Warning:  this recipe makes BIG FIRE, so be ready!  We set off the fire alarm twice and brought the Sea Island Fire Department once.
