Fried Green Beans

Peanut oil

1 lb. green beans cut into bite-sized pieces or French cut

Salt to taste

Vegetable Bowl

1 Tbsp. garlic, chopped

1 Tbsp, ginger, chopped

¼ cup green onions, chopped

½ tsp. Sambal (Asian chili sauce)

Seasonings Bowl

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 Tbsp. honey (2 tsp. sugar)

Set up the Vegetable Bowl and the Seasonings Bowl.  Heat 2 Tbsp. of the oil in a wok over medium heat. When the oil starts to smoke, add the green beans.  Stir-fry until they start to shrivel and taste good (about 8 minutes).  Transfer to a bowl.  Turn the heat to high and add another 2 Tbsp. of oil to the wok.  Add the Vegetable Bowl and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the reserved green beans and the Seasoning Bowl and toss until heated through.  Remove from heat and serve.
