Green Beans, Asparagus & Mushrooms

1/2 lb. green beans

1/2 lb. asparagus

1/2 lb. shitake mushrooms, sliced

3 Tbsp. olive oil

3 cloves garlic

Seasonings Bowl

1 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 tsp. red pepper flakes

1/4 cup chicken stock

Set up the Seasonings Bowl.  Diagonally slice the asparagus and green beans into one-inch pieces.  Fill a large skillet with water 1/2 inch deep and heat until boiling.  Add the green beans to the boiling water, cover and cook for  3 minutes.  Add the asparagus to the skillet, cover and cook for 1 minute.  Drain and rinse in a colander under cold water to stop the cooking.  Heat the oil and garlic in a large skillet over high heat until the garlic just starts to brown.  Add the mushrooms and stir-fry for 1 minute.  Add the asparagus and green beans and stir-fry for another minute.  Add the Seasonings Bowl and continue to stir-fry until the vegetables are well coated with sauce.
