Hard-Boiled Eggs

6 eggs

Fill a saucepan halfway with water. Slide the eggs into the cold water, careful not to crack them on the bottom of the pan. Heat the pan over high heat until the water boils. Cover and remove from the heat. Allow to sit until the water cools.

Our comments: If you are getting on in years (like me) and you have trouble remembering things like how long you boil a hard-boiled egg, then you need another way. This works for me.
