Louisa's Corn Flake Cookies

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup butter, softened

1 egg

1 cup vegetable oil

1 tsp. vanilla

Dry Bowl

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup corn flakes, mashed

½ cup coconut

½ cup pecans

3 ½ cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Set up the Dry Bowl.  Combine both sugars and the butter in a mixing bowl.  Mix with a hand mixer until fluffy.  Add the egg and mix for at least 3 minutes.  Add the oil and vanilla and mix until thoroughly combined.  Stir the Dry Bowl into the batter.  Use a spoon to drop the batter onto a cookie sheet. Flatten each cookie using a fork dipped in water.  Bake for 10 minutes.
