Our comments:  Fried chicken, biscuits and gravy at the Loveless Motel outside Nashville was one of my favorite meals while I was at Vanderbilt.  We were taking the Natchez Trace on our way to Michigan several years back and were pleasantly surprised to find out that the road terminates about 100 yards from Loveless’s.   Ownership has changed hands and the place has gone corporate.  Still, the memories are solid and the “corporate” owner now sells Loveless cookbooks.  This seasoning is one of the keys to their fried chicken, and I use it for a variety of things.
