Mojito

2 Tbsp. mint leaves, chopped

1 1/2 Tbsp. lime juice (about the yield of one large lime)

2 Tbsp. sugar

1 1/2 oz. white rum

Club soda

Put the mint leaves into a 10-ounce cocktail glass.  Add the lime juice and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved.  Add the rum.  Fill the glass with club soda.  Stir and serve.

 

Our comments:  Actually, we haven’t tried this recipe yet … the most heinous of all culinary crimes (this is how we get into trouble).  I am betting that we like it.
