
Shimp Maison
2 lbs. shrimp. shelled, deveined and cut into bite-sized pieces
2 Tbsp. Creole Seasoning
Olive oil
Maison Sauce
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. creole mustard
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 green onions, chopped
1 Tbsp. capers, chopped
1 Tbsp. flat leaf parsley, chopped
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Pinch of white pepper
Combine the Maison Sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Remove to a sealed container and refrigerate overnight.
Combine the shrimp and Creole Seasoning in a mixing bowl and toss until the shrip are evenly seasoned. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the shrip and stir-fry until the shimp are just cooked through. Remove from heat and pour the cooked shrimp into mixing bowl. Allow to cool to room temperature. Pour in the chilled Maison Sauce, toss to evenly coat the shrimp with sauce and serve.
